Four years ago, we moved from Brooklyn to Universal City with one simple mission: to bring Jews together from all walks of life.

Since then, people from across the community have been gathering for Shabbat, holidays, classes, and community events. But more than the events, it's the relationships we've built — the coffee chats, the late-night Shabbat dinners, and being there for every Jew in whatever way we can.

In January 2026, thanks to the generosity of our local community, we signed the lease on our first center for Chabad of Universal City.  A beautiful new storefront that gives our growing community a place to call home — where dozens of people now gather each week for Shabbat, classes, holiday celebrations, and youth programs

Inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, whose love for every Jew knew no bounds, we are building a Jewish community rooted in connection, learning, and belonging.

At Chabad, you will find Hebrew School, youth programs, Mommy & Me, adult learning and meaningful Shabbat and holiday celebrations for the whole family.

But more than anything, we are here for you, our doors are open to every Jew, regardless of background or affiliation. No matter who you are or where you come from, you will always feel at home at Chabad.

Welcome home.
Welcome to the family.

Please Note: Chabad of Universal City receives no funding from regional or national headquarters and relies solely on the support of people like yourself—locals and visitors who share our vision and make Chabad a reality.
